The Three Musketeers in 3D premieres in London!

Actors Mathew Macfayden, Ray Stevenson, and Luke Evans, who play the roles of the three Musketeers Athos, Porthos and Aramis respectively, made a swashbuckling entry down the red carpet, at the world premiere show of The Three Musketeers in 3D, in London. They were joined by Logan Lerman, who plays the hot-headed D'Artagnan in the movie, and a whole bevy of other stars. This movie is based on Alexandre Dumas' novel of the same name, which sees these 17th century heroes set out to defend the honour of the French Queen, and protect their motherland from war.
Resident Evil fame W.S. Anderson is the director of The Three Musketeers in 3D, and he states that his version of this oft retold tale would be different from its predecessors. The movie also features Milla Jovovich, the Resident Evil star and wife of director Anderson, as M'Lady De Winter. The movie has been shot on location in Bavaria in Germany, and Milla Jovovich feels that the usage of 3D in the movie has helped capture the beauty of the various castles and the wonderful costumes that were part of the film. An interesting tidbit is that Orlando Bloom plays the role of the devious Duke of Buckingham! The Three Musketeers in 3D is set for release in India, on October 14th.
