Department's first look is out

The first look of Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming Rana-Amitabh Bachchan starrerDepartment is out. Rana Daggubati is playing a tough cop named Shiv Narayan in Department, produced by Ram Gopal Varma himself.
Rana met many cops in Mumbai to research for his role and has taken inspiration from them. He has been talking to them about their frame of mind while on encounters and observing their body language, sources said.
Amitabh Bachchan plays a gangster turned politician, while Sanjay Dutt plays another cop. Kangna Ranaut is playing the role of Rana's wife. Tollywood girls Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna and Madhu Shalini are also playing important roles.
Reportedly, Abhishek Bachchan was the first choice for Rana Daggubati's role but was dropped from the film due to date issues. Department is the second film in Bollywood for Rana, earlier he acted in Dum Maro Dum.
