The shooting of Simbu'sPodaa Podi is almost complete and the team is currently busy wrapping up the last leg of the shoot. Now the latest buzz is that the film is all set to grace theatres for Valentine's Day 2012. Dancing diva Shobana will make a comeback in Kollywood through Simbu’s Podaa Podi. It is reported that the yesteryear actress will play a prominent role, that of Vijayalaxmi Sarathkumar’s dance mentor, in the film. Well-known artist Ute Bergk (assistant art director of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and V for Vendetta) has been roped in as the art director for the film.
Podaa Podi is produced by Gemini and Padam Kumar and as the title suggests, the film is an energetic rom-com.
